Pairings Guide: Which Packs Go Together

Last updated October 18, 2026

Some nutrients work well side by side, and a couple are best kept apart. Here is a simple guide to combining ChewNectar packs. Always follow the dose on each label, and check with your paediatrician before combining supplements.

Pairs that work well together

Pair Why they go together When to give
Multivitamin + Prebiotic + Probiotic Everyday vitamins and minerals, plus fibre and good bacteria for digestion. The simplest all-round routine. Both can go together, for example at breakfast.
Calcium + Vitamin D + Multivitamin Calcium and vitamin D for bones and teeth, with the multivitamin covering everyday gaps. Together, with a meal.
Iron + Vitamin C + Multivitamin Iron for daily intake, with vitamin C already in the pack to help absorption. Together, with a meal.

Keep these apart: iron and calcium

Calcium can reduce how much iron the body absorbs when both are taken at the same time. If your child takes both the Iron and the Calcium + Vitamin D packs, give them a few hours apart, for example iron with breakfast and calcium with dinner. The same goes for milk: try not to give the iron gummy with a glass of milk.

What helps iron absorb

Vitamin C in the same meal increases how much iron the body takes up from plant foods. A squeeze of lemon on dal or poha, or a guava or orange alongside, does real work. Tea and coffee at mealtimes do the opposite. There is more on this in our guide to iron for kids.

Good habits for any combination

  • Don't double up. If two packs contain the same nutrient, check the combined amount with your paediatrician.
  • One routine, same time daily. Tying gummies to a meal makes them easy to remember.
  • Store safely. Gummies look like sweets, so keep every pack out of children's reach. This matters most for iron.
